London Amburn offers a wide range of alternative dispute resolution services, including both mediation and arbitration.  We have especially designated conference rooms to handle multiple parties, attorneys, and witnesses.  These services are provided by the following members of the firm: 

James H. London is a highly regarded mediator and arbitrator who has been handling these cases since 1989.  He is experienced in resolving conflicts of business, employment, medical malpractice, products liability, and all types of civil cases.  He has mediated cases throughout the state of Tennessee, including but not limited to Memphis, Nashville, Chattanooga, Knoxville, and the Tri-Cities.  He is listed with both the Tennessee Supreme Court and the Federal Courts.  He is a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals and is a Distinguished Fellow in the International Academy of Mediators.

Gary R. Wade is the former Chief Justice of the Tennessee Supreme Court and Dean of the Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law.  Justice Wade is a strong advocate for alternative dispute resolution and he is listed by the Tennessee Supreme Court and the Federal Courts as a mediator and arbitrator.

Heidi A. Barcus started her mediation practice with the Community Mediation Center.  She is the 2021-22 Chair of the American Bar Association Law Practice Division and presently serves on the Board of Governors for the Tennessee Bar Association.  She maintains an active litigation practice in State and Federal Courts in Tennessee and Kentucky. She is also a Rule 31 Listed Mediator and is available to mediate civil matters.

Andy R. Tillman is the former Chancellor of the Eighth Judicial District in the State of Tennessee.  He has served as a senior clerk to Judge Charles Susano on the Tennessee Court of Appeals and clerk to Judge Ted Milburn on the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati, Ohio.  In addition, Mr. Tillman has had a very broad civil trial practice.  He is also listed as a Rule 31 Tennessee Supreme Court Mediator. 

Jason H. Long is the former President of the Tennessee Bar Association and is President-Elect of the Knoxville Bar Association. He has had extensive civil trial practice in state and federal courts throughout Tennessee and Kentucky. He is also a Rule 31 Listed Mediator and is available to mediate civil matters.
